County Recreation Sites

The County Park System maintains 11 designated dispersed campsites located adjacent to public water accesses. The public may utilize these designated dispersed recreation sites for fishing, hunting, backpacking, and camping. Sites are limited to no more than two sleeping units per site.  Visitations are limited to fourteen days per site.

The Park System asks that all refuse and supplies be carried out. Most sites are provided with an outdoor BWCA type latrines and a fire grate.  Please leave the site in better shape than you found it. All of the dispersed recreation campsites are located at existing public access sites and are signed accordingly. Please do not block the access.
