Help Stop Benefit Fraud

We rely on the community to help us in our efforts to reduce benefit fraud. You can help by reporting people who:
  • Falsify information on an application
  • Incorrectly report or fail to report the people living in their home
  • Lie about their income
  • Lie about their property and assets
  • Lie about where they live
  • Misuse food support benefits or EBT cards
  • Receive benefits from more than one state
You can report suspected benefit/welfare fraud in Itasca County by calling 800-422-0312, ext. 2191 or 218-327-6191. All calls are anonymous and each claim will be investigated.
