Persons holding regattas, races, tournaments, or other competition or exhibition events on the water must first obtain a permit for the event from the county sheriff.   This also includes events held on frozen waters such as ice fishing tournaments.  To apply for a Water Event permit, please complete the Water Event application and return it to our office with the $5.00 permit fee.
